From U.S. 400, 4 miles north on Main/U.S. 281, then just west on Flint. The Pratt Army Air Field, 1943-1945, was one of the first B-29 bases in Kansas and a pioneer of the B-29 program. Two military planes and a helicopter bring high-flying attention to this impressive memorial. Tribute is paid to the B-29 bomb groups that trained here and to area veterans. A circular walking path with informational signs connects the memorial with the B-29 Museum.
