Lost Springs Santa Fe Trail Marker

At Smith and Broadway is a superb Santa Fe Trail marker erected in 1908 by the DAR. The inscription on the ornate bas relief brass plaque reads, "This marks the route of the Santa Fe Trail. Kansas City to Santa Fe 1822-1880."
