At this small distillery, opened in 2024 inside a restored 1870 schoolhouse, every whiskey, bourbon, rum, and vodka is crafted to be enjoyed neat. Owners Herb and Lori Llewellyn carefully design and age each spirit in oak barrels to deliver a smooth, full-bodied flavor that stands on its own.

And the name Welshman? It comes from Lori Llewellyn’s maiden name—Welsh. As she likes to say with a smile, “Scotland has Scotch, Ireland has Irish whiskey—what does Wales have? We bring them (and you) Welshman!”
