The Boy Scouts placed a replica Statue of Liberty in City Park, and it has been a landmark there since 1951. A tasteful display comprises the statue and a veterans memorial, which includes flags representing each Rush County veteran who died in wartime.
Several 1930s WPA projects are found in the park, as wellβshelter houses and a restroom.
