Art in Bickerdyke Park

Russell, KS | Russell County

A 12-foot sculpture of an angel, made from the steel of oil-field and farm materials, was created by art educator Trudy Furney in 1988. The angel blows a trumpet in anticipation of better times ahead. The park,  with a limestone entrance, also contains a replica of the Statue of Liberty and a 1987 Roustabouts sculpture by Richard Bergen.
