The band shell, the smallest in the state, was built by the WPA in 1940 in the International Order of Odd Fellows (I.O.O.F.) Park. In 2003 local volunteers cleaned and put back into use a rock fountain and lily pond that had been filled with dirt in the 1930s. Local gardeners make this a lovely spot in Barnes.
