Glasco is the eastern end of the Highway 24 Alliance, which promotes the Solomon River Valley and 24 towns along U.S. 24 between Glasco and Hoxie. This scenic route takes you through the Smoky Hills and into the High Plains, and along the cusp of both regions. You'll come across 16 national register sites, five county seats, two state lakes, one state historic site, and one giant ball of twine. In or around each of the 24 towns along the route, a blue-roofed kiosk provides information about the Solomon Valley and the nearby town. The Glasco kiosk is found near a former gas station on U.S. 24.
