Spaceships are welcome here. Veterans and Outer Space get shared billing. And to make it all down to earth a collection of Boston Terrier china dolls has display space in this quirky museum. Every inch of the Ol' Doc Janzen house is used to tell the Geneseo story and to share artifacts, books, blueprints of fleets of craft from Venus and Mars, and the story of other extraterrestial coincidences. A couple of years ago a small group of locals resurrected the museum and story of aliens visiting the area. It resulted in Geneseo making a proclamation that they are the U.F.O. Capital of Kansas. A mural and alien figures enhance the claim.
