Early in the year you might see bald eagles around the lake. The lake (completed in 1981) and park offer all the usual recreational opportunities and a variety of nature trails. A rare equestrian camping facility is located here along with a 12-mile horse trail. State Park entrance charge. Cabins available, reservations required.
