A long-standing stone kiosk with slate roof welcomes you to Country Club Heights where old brick streets wind you past lovely homes that date to the 1920s. 'The Hill,' as the area was known, was first populated by the city's elite, and early homes were built to the owner's taste by architect Charles Shaver.
