A big and attractive metal sign now designates the geographic center of Kansas! The actual site, as designated by the Kansas Geological Survey, is across the road (on private property) from this large marker that sits in front of Wayne and Karen Habiger's hay barn. You can safely pull off the gravel road to take a selfie in front of the Center of Kansas sign.
