The historic fountain at the park's entrance (south end of Main) is a fitting tribute to Emerson Carey, founder of Carey Salt Company and a state legislator. The park is further enhanced with the Salt City Splash Aquatic Center, 1601 S. Plum, and includes a skateboard park, walking trail, disc golf, golf course, and footbridges.
