HISTORY

Bucklin Extras

Bucklin, KS | Ford County

Take a close look at the beautiful native rocks on the exterior of the WPA auditorium at 101 S. Nebraska. The 1936 building has been nicely preserved and now serves as the American Legion meeting hall.

An ace playing card is painted on the water tower, on the school sign, and is etched into the sidewalk. Why? Because the Bucklin High School mascot is the Aces. The junior high mascot is the Deuces!
