Brookover Feed Yard

Garden City, KS | Finney County

'Eat Beef, Keep Slim' is still proudly displayed on the grain elevators at Brookover Feed Yards north of town along US-83. Earl Brookover established the first commercial feed yard, called 'the yard that started it all,' in the High Plains in 1951.
