B-24 Bomber Memorial

Osborne County, Kansas

Near this spot 11 servicemen lost their lives when their WWII B-24-D bomber plane crashed on September 22, 1943. In 2004 local citizens erected a memorial at this roadside pull over. The crash occurred about ¼ mile to the west of the marker.
