Pioneers, O Pioneers Monument

This seven-ton granite monument was erected in 1969 by the children of Henry and Rosa Ise (their son John authored the popular book Sod and Stubble). The monument memorializes the indomitable families who settled this area before the railroad arrived in 1879.
