Enjoy the drive around this 43-acre lake that dates to 1926. Take the cottonwood-lined lane along the south side (watchout for the ducks) or walk through the pedestrian covered bridge, which is part of a one-mile lighted walking path around the lake. The quarter-mile Hayden Nature Trail is in the West Lake area and leads to a wooden stilt house observation tower.
