1885 Frisco Wooden Water Tower

Beaumont, KS | Butler County

The last remaining Frisco wooden water tower of its kind in the United States, it provided water for steam locomotives and for the cattle stockyards. Beaumont was a railroad cattle shipping point dating to 1880. (NRHP)
