Historic Topeka Cemetery

Topeka, KS | Shawnee County

The hillside mausoleums and the 1895 Civil War memorial are impressive landmarks in this cemetery. Noteworthy individuals interred here include Vice President Charles Curtis, Santa Fe railway founder Cyrus K. Holliday, five Kansas territorial or state governors, three U.S. senators from Kansas, and three veterans of the War of 1812. A kiosk lists gravesites of persons of note.
