John Riggins Avenue

John Riggins Avenue is named for the Centralia native who earned fame as football running back at the University of Kansas and later with the New York Jets and the Washington Redskins. Riggins was named Most Valuable Player of Super Bowl XVII. His boyhood home is at 512 John Riggins.
