Heritage Walk through downtown, initiated by George Gantz in the early 1990s, includes benches, landscaping, and old-fashioned street lamps along the red-brick sidewalks that lead to many historic buildings. Surrounding the courthouse square are many great shopping options including the Beverly Brown & Co. Boutique, (124 W. 5th); 785 Antiques, (400 Pennsylvania); Heart to Home, (105 W. 4th) and Jayhawk TV & Appliance (435 New York).
