Drive slowly through this small town and you'll find interesting structures including a little white building resembling a European cottage (Main and C); a metal jail protected by canopy (130 S. Main); two churches with unusual architecture (E and Main, F and Main); and the red-brick Sylvia Rural High School (203 W. Old K-50). The 1926 school (NRHP) closed in 2014.
