Yates Center Courthouse Square Historic District

Yates Center, KS | Woodson County

This historic district includes 43 structures built between 1883 and 1928, including the 1928 gazebo, a tribute to county soldiers and sailors who served in WWI. Many of the buildings are two-story sandstone and brick of Italianate design. Tour brochures are available at the chamber office, 110 N. Main. Monday 10 a.m.-12 p.m. and 1-5 p.m.; Tuesday-Thursday 9 a.m.-12 p.m. and 1-4 p.m. (NRHP)
