Yates Center, KS | Woodson County

Inside the 1878 former First Christian Church (later a chicken hatchery) you'll find an extensive county museum filled with artifacts, including a 1926 fuel truck. Learn more about the ghost town Kalida, the Woodson State Fishing Lake (built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in 1930), and the town founder Abner Yates.
