Known as the widest main street in the United States and once featured in Ripley's Believe It or Not, Grand spans 155 feet five inches from storefront to storefront. A row of trees is planted down the middle of the street, and you can park on either side of the median or against the curbs—four parking areas in one! Another fact you might want to know is that it takes 69 kids stretching arm-to-arm to reach from storefront to storefront! The Widest Main Street was a finalist in the 8 Wonders of Kansas Customs category.
