Waterville's anchor building is this striking three-story railroad hotel built in 1905 and restored in 2009. The facade of the long, narrow exterior is made with precast concrete blocks, and mounted over the curved corner entrance is an ornate pediment accented in green, orange, and yellow. You're welcome to stay overnight in one of the beautifully furnished rooms, or just stop by the gift shop. (NRHP)
