Half the fun of eating and having a cold one in Waudby's is stepping inside the 1886 building with wood floors and wainscoting. In 1926 Alfred Waudby converted it into a pool hall for oil workers, and billiard benches still line both sides of the long open room. Also of interest are the two murals, painted in 1939 by a transient named Gesser and restored in 2004 by Rick Rupp. (NRHP)
