Opening as Happiness Plaza in 1968 and housing everything from furs to jewelry, this striking building with its tall arched windows has taken on a new life as a neighborhood bar named for one of the streets in the College Hill neighborhood. But calling it a neighborhood bar doesn’t quite prepare you for the food. Take a look at the lunch or dinner menu and you’ll see what makes The Belmont special: farm-to-table dishes that are as beautiful as they are delicious, along with cocktails and mocktails worth lingering over. The Belmont team knows how to keep regulars coming back and give first-timers a reason to become one. Come hungry, settle in and prepare to be delighted.
