Sunset Cemetery

Manhattan, KS | Riley County

Along the shaded lanes you'll find a section of white crosses placed by Gold Star Mothers, the eerie Fortune mausoleum, a monument built 'In Memory of Our Union Soldiers 1861-1865', and many intriguing gravestones. The impressive limestone arched entrance and the stone wall around the cemetery was a 1935 WPA project. Tiger Woods' father, Earl, is buried here but has no gravestone.
