Adventure awaits as you go deep inside the only salt mine in the Western Hemisphere with an underground museum. Equipped with hard hat, you will descend 650 feet in a dark elevator to caverns that are 275 million years old. Once there you will find an amazingly large, lighted, salt-lined hallway with hands-on displays, videos, and artifacts, plus movie costumes, posters, and more. Your ticket includes access to gallery exhibits, a train ride on the Salt Mine Express, and a tram ride (called the Dark Ride) where you will learn about original salt mine workers, their environment, equipment, and their treacherous trip down the shaft.
