Topeka, KS | Shawnee County

On the south lawn is the Robert Merrell Gage sculpture of a seated pioneer woman holding an infant, with a young boy and a dog at her feet. A second Gage sculpture, east of the capitol, is of a seated Abraham Lincoln. Numerous other plaques and a Statue of Liberty replica also adorn the grounds.
