
The landmark for unincorporated Angelus is the Catholic church's gothic tower that stands 130 feet high. The 1917 brick church that was renovated in 2024 and seats 400. The parochial school closed in 1999. A nearby grotto was constructed in 1937 from rock, shells and pebbles collected by parishioners from the area and on their travels.
