St. Michael's Church, School and Convent

Collyer, KS | Trego County

Collyer was founded as an Irish railroad settlement but later was populated by Volga German immigrants. Between the limestone St. Michael's Church and the 1918 red-brick school stands the restored red-brick convent, built in 1925 and now a private residence. The school and convent closed in 1968.
