St. Joseph's Church

Damar, KS | Rooks County

The double bell towers topped with crosses can be seen from miles away and lead you to this beautiful limestone church. The first mass was held here in 1917, but it took decades to complete the church. The copper roof and steeples, interior decor, and brilliant stained glass were added between 1944 and 1952. Step inside to see one of the most breathtaking church interiors in the state.
