The high-rising steeple of St. Joseph Church guides you into the once flourishing agricultural settlement of Flush. Just south of town a hilltop overlooking the Rock Creek Valley offers a spectacular view, especially in the fall. Little remains of Flush, only the abandoned school and gym. But still, almost 1,000 people annually attend the Flush Picnic at the end of July.
