Naturalistic habitats showcase more than 3,000 animals and 400 species in visitor-friendly exhibits from Africa, Australia, South America, Asia, and North America. Among interesting scenes and activities are the elephants frolicking in the world's largest elephant pool, a gorilla lounging in a hammock, river otter feeding, bird feeding, and a penguin chat. For a few dollars, you can even feed lettuce to a giraffe! The landscaping and kids' playground are stellar, too.
