SCOUT CABIN

Scout Cabin

Osborne, KS | Osborne County

Should you have the chance to step inside this 1937 Boy Scout Cabin, built as a National Youth Administration (NYA) project, you'd find a fireman's pole and a massive stone fireplace. Now serving as a community building, it also preserves another reminder of its scouting roots: the words carved into the post rock out frontβ€”trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean, and reverent.
