Sar-Ko-Par Trails Park

Lenexa, KS | Johnson County

87th and Lackman. Home of the annual Lenexa Spinach Festival, this park hosts a lovely paved walking trail around Rose's Pond. Fifteen large stones take you to the pond island and the "Serpent"'a large welded steel piece created by J. Derek Arnold in 1993. The park was named for a Creek Indian who assisted the U.S. military.
