Local artwork graces the walls, and the aroma of artisan dishes of smoked gouda cheese soup and ribeye steaks floats through the hop-and- barley-infused air. Local author Cheryl Unruh, Kansas Explorer #2703, is a regular. She loves to watch the culinary team in the open kitchen prepare the pizza dough, tossing it high before slathering it with toppings and popping it into the wood-fired brick oven.
