Mountain oysters! Prairie Oysters! People must love 'em because this Nut Hut sells 100 pounds per week! Since 1940 customers have come here for the food and the tradition. The hut isn't fancy, and if you don't care for mountain oysters, the burgers are excellent, including the popular green chili burger. The barbecue sauce is homemade, shelled peanuts are complimentary and tossing the shells on the floor is mandatory. For a rare treat, order the Hopping Nut Plateβa combo of frog legs and mountain oysters.
