Oregon Trail Marker

The bronze medallion of a Conestoga wagon pulled by oxen and led by a pioneer near Lindley Hall on the KU Campus reminds us that the California-Oregon Trail came through here in the 1840s and 1850s. The sculptors were J.E. and L.G. Fraser.
