Old Cowtown Museum

Wichita, KS | Sedgwick County

After the visitor center's introduction to Wichita's cowtown history, step out onto the boardwalk and dirt streets of this late 1860s-1870s living history museum. With more than 50 buildings (27 original) and costumed reenactors (during the summer) you'll feel part of early Wichita and thoroughly enjoy the experience. Chickens, Percheron horses, a cow, and sheep are on hand to greet you in the 1880s farmstead.
