The 1884 Moore General Store was Oketo's first commercial structure, built with stone from a local quarry. It now houses a museum whose exhibits include the original advertising stage curtains from the opera house, farm machinery, elements of the original general store, and the history and artifacts of the Otoe Indians whose reservation was just north of town.Β (NRHP)
