Local businessman Frank Northrup built this classic art deco theatre in 1930, and his daughter, Muriel Ellis, painted the stenciled ceilings and walls in 1949. The original pastel marquee, mosaic tiles, multicolor fluorescent wall lights, original seats, and Naugahyde wall add authenticity. For tours, call. First-run movies are shown Friday-Sunday. (NRHP)
