Noah Ness Statue

Ness City, KS | Ness County

A Civil War soldier with the Seventh Kansas Cavalry, Corporal Noah V.B. Ness, is the namesake of Ness County, the only Kansas county named for a corporal. The bronze statue of Corporal Ness, sculpted by H.T. Holden, stands in front of the courthouse as a tribute to those who served their country.
