As you come from the northeast on K-9, the church steeple beckons and urges you to stop. Before you reach the front step, look up. On the tower's southeast corner you'll see a cross that appears to be barely hanging on. But it has done just that since the 1970s when a construction project accidentally led to this precarious looking situation. To go inside, move the bundled weight that keeps the door closed. Be sure to put it back when you leave!
