
Situated on the Leavenworth-Lansing line, Mount Muncie is the final resting place for many prominent and infamous individuals, including: Fred Harvey, Levan Dadiani, Thomas Carney, D.A. Anthony, Helen Fritsche Cronkite (Walter Cronkite's mother), Richard Hickock, and Perry Smith. Hickock and Smith were convicted and executed for the murder of four members of the Clutter family in Holcomb, Kansas in 1959.
