Mount Calvary Cemetery

A handmade iron fence surrounds this cemetery, whose gravestones tell interesting stories. Henry John Lohmeyer was a Bronze Star Medal WWII veteran. Joseph C. Riemann, a WWI veteran, served in the 12th Balloon Company Air Service (balloons functioned as high flying observation platforms to gather intelligence). The anvil on top of Timothy Daniel O'Connor's gravestone signifies he was a blacksmith.
