Mother Bickerdyke Memorial Cemetery

Ellsworth, KS | Ellsworth County

From K-156, just north on K-14, Β½ mile west on L. Follow the sandy road past the TV towers to a hilltop cemetery where you'll enjoy a great view of Ellsworth. Mother Bickerdyke isn't buried in this cemetery, but you'll find a memorial to her among the graves of 32 of her Civil War nurses and the wives of Civil War veterans.
