Mile Zero of Flint Hills Nature Trail

The Flint Hills Nature Trail is longest rail-trail in Kansas is 118 miles and runs through one of the last remaining tallgrass prairie ecosystems in the world and starts in Osawatomie—Mile Zero. This fact is celebrated through signage and a kiosk at the trailhead, 1400 South and a sculptural bicycle rack in front of the John Brown Mural at 5th and Main.
